No Matter What Seems Out of Reach, Jesus Is Always Within Reach (189 hits)

"And a certain man was there, which had an infirmity thirty and eight years. When Jesus saw him lie, and knew that he had been now a long time in that case, he saith unto him, Wilt thou be made whole? The impotent man answered him, Sir, I have no man, when the water is troubled,to put me into the pool: but while I am coming, another steppeth down before me (John 5:5-7,KJV)

Imagine how hopeless this man felt. He had been infirmed for thirty-eight long years watching others obtain deliverance as he laid hopelessly just out of reach of his healing. He laid helplessly looking at the place that he perceived to be the blessed place, but he did not perceive the Blesser. He saw the pool of Bethesada as the place that would ensure his healing but he did not perceive the Healer

This day I will remember and encourage myself that no matter what my issue, even though it appears or feels to me that I'm just outside of the blesed place, Jesus is yet there saying, "Wilt thou be made whole?"

"But Lord, my finances are..."

"I want a new job, but the economy..."

"I've tried to be a good mother but..."

Jesus is yet saying, "It doesn't matter what it looks like, it doesn't matter how far away what you hope to accomplish appears and no matter what your eyes can see. I am the Healer, the Deliverer, and Everything that you need so tell Me, "Wilt thou be made whole?"
