A Wild Ride (56 hits)

By Coach Randee

I am deeply thankful for teachers who are able to articulate what I am unable to articulate. Do you know what I mean? Those gifted individuals whom God uses to give voice to the stirrings in my own spirit that I am so often unable to discern.

Recently, I have been following a certain teacher who is known for his "radical" approach to kingdom living. I've heard of him through the years but had never taken the opportunity to read or listen to his work until now. I was actually led to him through 3 different individuals on 3 different occasions over a short period of time. Then one particular lady dropped by with a collection of 12 CDs and asked me to listen carefully and follow up with her when I was through.

Truth be told, I've listened (and read) with a critical eye and ear based on the things I've "heard" by respected individuals of the faith. I've prayed for wisdom and discernment. God has given both, I'm sure, but He has also added knowledge to the answering of this prayer.

Here's the thing: I have received more from this teacher than I believed possible. I have measured his words against the Word of God and have come to the conclusion that he is completely walking in his anointing. Wow. Is he radical? Yes! And it's refreshing. His pursuit for intimacy with God is astounding and he is able to articulate the yearnings of my heart and spirit.

There is one question that God has impressed upon my spirit for the last several weeks: Randee, what will you choose? I've pondered this question and my conclusion: Father, I choose you. I choose to believe.

Last November, God began shifting things around within me. He began challenging me on a new level. He has graced me with a passion for the pursuit of TRUTH. He has graced me with the passion for the pursuit of REAL relationship with the living God. Real intimacy. Real power. Real weakness. Real strength. The paradox is unbelievable.

I'm holding on for what I am sure to be the wildest ride of my life! Blessed be the name of the Lord.
