"Shake Off the Cobwebs of Your Mind" (798 hits)

"These were more noble (Jews) than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the Word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so." ~Acts 17:11 (KJV)

SISTAH DECLARATION:
Allowing my mind to be open to the things of God is paramount to my success as a believer.

God will accomplish whatever He wants. He may do it in a traditional sense or in a non-traditional sense. He may do it right now or years later. But there is one thing you should learn if you are going to succeed in any endeavor, in the things of God. You have to have an open mind. God is not predictable. You cannot chart Him and say He is only going to do it this way or that way. Listen to me. God is going to do it His way.

In Acts 17:11, these Jews had a readiness of mind. They were called "more noble" because their minds were open to receive the Word of God. If your mind is closed, you will miss the blessings of God, and the next person who has an open mind will get them. Make sure that open-minded person is you.
