Numbers 13:33 says:
"And there we saw the giants, the sons of Anak, which come of the giants: and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers, and so were in their sight.”
Greetings Ladies,
Welcome to "Inspirational Moments for Women" with Yolanda McIntosh.
Today's message is entitled: “Giants In The Land”
The story is told about a young woman with unlimited potential. She is multitalented. She has the gift of relating to people from various walks of life - empowering them to believe in themselves and believe in all that God has created them to be.
However, there was one problem.
Although she knew these things to be true; she knew that the favor of God was on her life, yet she was unable to activate this favor to its fullest potential. Why? Because she saw “Giants In The Land” and perceived herself as “grasshopper” and so she was in the sight of the “Giants”!
You see. As a child, this young woman was unaware of the favor of God on her life. She was only aware of the “Giants In The Land”. The “Giants” of abuse, discouragement, disappointments, worthlessness and hopelessness. It was these “Giants” that influenced her perception of seeing herself as a “grasshopper”.
How do I know? That young woman was me.
What “Giants” are you facing today? Are you ready to see your “Giants” destroyed once and for all, never again seeing you as a “grasshopper“? I know I am!
Let us invite and accept Christ into our life today and allow HIM to transform us, heal us, and restore us to our rightful place - to be all that HE has created us to be!
God’s love is unconditional meaning, it is not based on our past, present or future ugliness; nor is it based on our mistakes and our intention to do harm. God’s unconditional love is never changing, never wavering, never ending! “Oh, what manner of love is this!”
Today’s prayer:
“God, thank you for your unconditional love towards us! Not only do we invite you into our life and into our heart, but God, right now, we allow you to fill us, transform us, and remove all of the ugliness that the “Giants” embedded in us!”
“You have the power to heal all of the internal hurts and pain that the “Giants” have inflicted on us. So God, please come in and do it for us all.”
“In the mighty name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior! Amen!”
We can now walk empowered claiming our victory knowing this: “Giants, the bigger they are; the harder they fall - but only God can destroy them all!
