Wisdom's Gifts (68 hits)

God said to Solomon, "Since this is your heart's desire and you have not asked for wealth, riches or honor, nor for the death of your enemies, and since you have not asked for a long life but for wisdom and knowledge to govern my people over whom I have made you king, therefore wisdom and knowledge will be given you. And I will also give you wealth, riches and honor, such as no king who was before you ever had and none after you will have." (2 Chronicles 1:11-12, NIV)

Yesterday we learned to call wisdom our sistah (Proverbs 7:4). Today, we see that she's the kind of girlfriend that comes bearing gifts.

In the media each day we see women seeking the wealth, riches and honor the world has to offer. Some of them are even getting it. What happens though if you get all that without wisdom?

Want to be a true sistah leader? Start seeking wisdom. She comes with a great benefit package!

Minister Celeste, this is awesome!! and true to the Word. God's Word is tested, tried, and true. Without wisdom, we have no knowledge. How can we achieve knowledge when we don't know what to do. Wisdom is a must, In God We Must Trust. I really appreciate the divind order you emphasized in your blog that in which we are to seek (God's Face) and not His hand. When we seek His KIngdom first, as he told Solomon, our desires will be given to us. And this is the Divine Order of God in which we should seek Him. The riches, honor, and wealth are incentives that we receive for being in line with God's will and being obedient to His Word. Then, and only then, do we get to stand on God's Promises. Thank you, Minister Celeste for this "Alarm Clock" that we must sound off every day that we draw breath.
