"Sunday Afternoon Prayer Blanket"
Father God, I thank You for allowing us all to see another day. This day represents the start of a new month... and a new opportunity to set in motion the vision that You have given us. Father God, many of us have struggled with the truth; we have struggled with realizing our purpose and with being confident in our gifts. Lord, only You are able to place within us the peace that gives us the courage to truly step out on faith in Your Word - believing that You will make a way if only we are obedient to the call.
Lord, this day I commit to being all that I can be in You. I make a promise to You that I will get my life together to take my place in the Kingdom. Lord God, I thank You that You have never expected perfection from me. I ask that You forgive me for all of the many ways I continuously fall short of Your glory, Lord. I confess that Jesus Christ is the Lord of my life and I ask that You fill my heart with the presence of the Holy Spirit. Guide me, Father God... reveal Your plan for my life and order my steps so that I may not wander off course. I will continue to press on toward the mark for the prize of the high calling in Jesus' name.
Thank You, Lord, for Your protection, provision, comfort, and Love. I could not live without the Joy that is in my heart which can only come from you, Father God. Please cover our families and leaders with the wisdom necessary to be righteous examples in these times of trouble and confusion that we are facing. Please help us to keep our eyes on You when we are unsure, knowing that You will never lead us astray. In the name of Jesus, Amen.
