One Man's Trash... (25 hits)

ONE MAN'S TRASH IS ANOTHER MAN'S TREASURE

There us a saying that goes like this, "One man's trash is another man's treasure."

I've heard people say that often, especially when relationships end. As a matter of fact, I've said it before when I divorced several years ago. It's funny how we as women seem to accept that saying and subconsciously call ourselves trash.

The truth of the matter is, no one is trash. We are all special, gifted and unique treasures that God created for a specific purpose. However, the issue is, we've often been told that we are not good enough, not pretty enough, not skinny enough, etc. and these imposed imperfections have shaped how we view ourselves inwardly and outwardly.

Sometimes it really does take the "next man" to pull us out of this slump. But the truth is, it should not be that way. We should already know that we are wonderful women who bring value to any relationship we're in. A man should only confirm what we already know. :)

So how can we get over the "trash" mentality? Here are three ways you can begin to move from the "trash to treasure" mentality. Click here to read more --> http://cli.gs/1haUaA
