Father God, as I begin my day, I ask that You go before me in all things. I pray that You continue to guide me this day as you did yesterday, convicting me of my wrongs and encouraging me in my apprehension. Lord, I ask that You forgive me for the sins of yesterday and help me to be strong as I face temptations, provocations, and attacks. I want nothing but to please You. I thank You so much for every blessing You've allowed in my life and for loving me so completely. Sometimes, Lord, I lose sight of all the wonderful things that You have pulled out of situations I believed would break me and I am humbled by Your power... and by Your mercy.
Lord, I thank You for the provision of today even though I have not seen it yet; I know that if Your eye is on even the sparrow, You have not forsaken me. Father thank You for every promise You made and for the hope I have in my life because of the faith I've gained in my circumstances. Lord, I come before You this morning asking for healing of the sick... deliverance of the afflicted... and mending of the broken. Father God, I ask that You protect our children as we send them out into the world and that the Holy Spirit will take up residence in their hearts so that Your light will shine through them. I pray that Your favor be with me, Father God, and that those whose lives I can impact come across my path as well as those who are able to impact my life!
It becomes easier and easier to become discouraged in these times, Father God, but I am looking to You, knowing without a doubt that You are my help, my savior, my strength, and my deliverer. Before You, I come humbly and faithfully, praying in the name of Jesus Christ that Your Will be done in my life. Amen.
