A Whole You in God (Part 5A) (127 hits)

Greetings Everyone!

I used to wonder why some people were more anointed than others; why some had greater revelations than others, why? why? why? Maybe I'm the only one who used to wonder this. At any rate, as I mature in God through my own life experiences, study His Word, lay in His bosom and listen to other people experiences, I began to understand.

Acts 9:20-31 in Part 5 read with the natural eye can be interpreted as though not much time had passed from the time Saul started preaching to the time Barnabas spoke up for him to the other apostles and Saul returning to Tarsus, his hometown.
It's always a good thing to dig a little deeper, seek God a little more, ask a few questions if you don't quite understand so God can reveal to us more of His Word, His Will and His Way.

I learned important and fascinating insights to Saul's anointing, revelations and relationship with the other apostles [believers] that I simply am not able to write about but I do pray that you set some time aside to learn how God used this man to bring glory and honor to Him.

However, I believe anointing, revelations and relationships with other believers should be a common element to all who walk with God. And as much as I would love to think and want to believe that working with other believers is always a pleasant experience, anointed or not, revelations or not, it's just not always a pleasant experience, it's not. It can be unfortunately down right painful even hurtful. God knows this and yet He allows us to discover this about ourselves, each other and realize the consistent need for His Divine help and intervention, and subsequent reconciliation. Glory to God! Hallelujah! How else can we find ourselves in God, our place in God, our giftings in God and our place in the Body of Christ? Nothing happens by chance....

Just as Saul needed time with God to receive revelations as to what his assignment, mission, his part would be in the New Testament church movement, so do we, and it's a continual process. One thing for sure, when Saul came back from spending time with God, I guarantee, he knew he was anointed, appointed and was on fire for the Lord with a clear purpose in mind of what God called him to do! And rightly so, Saul had disagreements, had to correct his fellow apostle, and on many occasions, he was led by the Holy Spirit to go places other believers didn't agree with because of the danger as well as the group of people he was called to minister to. Moments like this could be considered biblical breakups. God uses biblical breakups to further His purpose to advance kingdom building. I hope somebody caught that! I did when it was first introduced to me. Glory! Not all breakups are bad. When God does it, it's for His Divine purpose.

I hope this intrigues you to want to read more, learn more, study more, hear more how God used Saul/Paul as an example to us even today......it's called progressive sanctification, whereby the believer is constantly being set apart from sin when he utilizes the means of grace (e.g., the Word and prayer) in his or her life. A new life begins after receiving salvation. It doesn't stop. There is purpose for each of us! There is a plan for each of us! That purpose and that plan first and foremost is sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ as He lives in each of us. This is our personal testimony, our personal witness and we can do that anywhere and at anytime! The Holy Spirit will lead, guide and direct us to who we need to speak to and where we need to go! Praise the Lord!

God bless each of you in Jesus mighty name!

Philippians 1:[6] And I am convinced and sure of this very thing, that He Who began a good work in you will continue until the day of Jesus Christ [right up to the time of His return], developing [that good work] and perfecting and bringing it to full completion in you. [AB]
