It's that time of year again, students are heading back to school but just before we send our kids back to school Sankofa Community Empowerment in conjunction with Grands As Parents would like to give local youth an opportunity to have a little bit more summer fun.
This Friday August 29th, we will host a Lock In for all high school age youth. Up all night from 8PM to 8AM, we will keep the youth up with games, workshops and other activities. In the morning each youth will go home with a bag full of school supplies!
If you know any youth interested in attending please fill out the attached permission slip and call Shesheena Bray 267-259-1740 for further instructions. This is a free event, space is limited, so sign up quickly.
