Now that Hurricane Ike has come and gone, we are starting to receive e-mails from many brothers and sisters affected by the storm out of the Houston, Texas area.

What we have been hearing is that at least 2 million are still without electricity and it may be days or weeks before it will be restored in some areas. That translates into lost of work time and many for many. Others are trying to get a hotel room, but many of the hotels are now booked up. Needless to say but living conditions for many has become challenging.
