Sean Simmonds hears the unheard cries! He partners with “Children Without a Voice - USA” organization to make a difference!
~ COMING UP ON "WRITE THE VISION" ~ Statistics say 3 MILLION child abuse cases are reported each year in the U.S. but experts say the number is actually closer to 9 MILLION, as most cases go unreported. Each day, 3-4 children die from abuse in this country.
Sean Simmonds, a father, a husband as well as a minister of music has taken this statistic to heart. He wrote a song that deals directly with the subject abuse. Sean feels it’s an issue that has gone far too long without proper recognition. Looking to make a difference, Sean has partnered with the non profit organization “Children Without A Voice - USA”.
The first effort from the partnership is the Sean Simmonds’ highly anticipated single and video, “Unheard Cries” from the sophomore album “It’s Over” in stores September 23, 2008. The song will be a part of the organizations’ ongoing community efforts to bring awareness to such an important issue.
